What's the best styling product to get rid of the frizz?
Hi there !!! I’m Rebecca, I’m a busy mum of 2 gorgeous Sons. Also, I have long very straight thin but bulky hair. Ever since I started growing it, it has been a struggle for me to keep it from getting knotty and natural dreadlocks from forming.
I love that my husband Andrew brushes my hair for me, once if not twice a day, and he even plaits it for me if I want. It’s a lovely way for us to connect (especially being together for 18years) and I get the enjoyment of having my hair brushed.
Sometimes he complains and I complain about the knots that hurt. Also, I do get dry ends. So this product has been amazing for smoothing out my hair and nourishing the ends.
How it works – Your hair has to be wet, and apply a small amount (I used a full dropper) from the middle to the ends before it dries or dry hair to smooth out the fizz.

So let me tell you about the ingredients, capric triglyceride is a form of coconut oil, it's got a grape seed oil abyssinica seed oil esters, camellia seed oil, argen seed oil, passionfruit seed oil, manula seed oil, manoi flower extract, and vit e are the oils to nourish and hydrate the hair, the omega’s help protect the hair and gives shine.
The essential oils are black spruce, geranium, orange, lavender, sage, ylang ylang, and rose.
Spruce is a really beautiful essential oil, in my one of my many resources, it says that the historical data is that the Native American Indians used spruce to strengthen their ability to communicate with the Great Spirit. Traditionally it was believed to possess the frequency of prosperity. I so love that and the other cool thing I love about that is, if you've seen the movie Avatar and they use their tail to connect into the giant tree of souls, Eywa, that the Na'vi people accessed spiritual knowledge and also the source of all life, that is the best way of how I can what happened.
Also, I don't know the validity of this, because I once read there was an experiment by the military on Native American Indians. There were some that had their hair cut off and the other didn't and then they took them out into a war zone to see how who could track better, it’s been said that the longer the hair is the more intuition you have and so, in the end the tracking was better from the men that kept their hair long as opposed to the men that have their hair cut off. The men that had their hair cut off didn't predict the enemy coming near their camp as far off as the people that still kept their hair, they still got away but they didn't they didn't get to have as good a lead time.
It's interesting that the hair has always been known as a spiritual part of our body because if you remember in the Bible Samson and Delilah. Delilah, was able to get Samson to cut his hair off and he lost his strength,
Which also interestingly, that's one thing that is oppositely the case for monks. I have heard they actually shave their head so that they can have more connection to God.
So it can go both ways, right?
In the book I’m reading black spruce says it strengthens the ability to communicate with Great Spirit and so I’m thinking the best place to wear spruce is in the hair.
I believe the hair is an extension of the nervous system, which is some wisdom that has probably been lost through time.
There are a whole lot of beautiful nourishing oils like passion fruit seed oil in here as well monoi marula.
Let’s go to the next one geranium, geranium is a beautiful oil it has been used for centuries for helping regenerate the skin. Also, from my book, the fragrance influence helps release negativity and eases nervous tension and balances the emotions, lifts the spirit and fosters peace, well-being and hope. I mean, who wouldn't want to have those kind of fragrance influences.
A beautiful way to relax that most people love is a good scalp massage. Although it's not designed for applying to the scalp, as the scalp has its own oils, you might want to keep it to a minimum, although if you have a really dry scalp, you may want to start with a little amount and see how your scalp responds, if it loves it and soaks it up, you may want to add a little more.
Ideally, you want it to be so you can moisturize your dry hair ends.
What’s next, Orange, an uplifting, beautiful essential oil. Studies have found that the fragrance induced relaxation. Orange oil is made from cold pressed rinds, which is where Vitamin C is found, and Vitamin C for the hair is invigorating and may promote growth.
Lavender, we call Lavender the mother oil, for mum’s for using to calm situations, and promotes hair growth. http://www.toxicolres.org/journal/view.html?doi=10.5487/TR.2016.32.2.103
Sage is a humble herb that we love to grow, it’s another herb people have used through antiquity for clearing negative energy, and I just found out it is also great for the scalp and sage tea is apparently great for covering greys, it also is used for strengthening the hair, I’d love to do a 21 day challenge to see if we got the last few inches cut off our hair, and used the oil for 21 days to see how different the ends of the hair where the hair starts to split is less or the same as before using the oil. That would be a great challenge. I’ve already been using this product for a while, so I can’t provide you with a before and after. If you have a dry scalp and dry hair, you can try it for yourself by going to purchase it from my link here -
Ylang Ylang traditionally used in hair formulas to promote thick, shiny, lustrous hair ! Energetically speaking Ylang Ylang is a balancing oil.
Rose is a very luxurious essential oil, that is extremely expensive. I’m grateful for Rose essential oil being in this hair product, as it brings a sense of self love, it has a romance about it, that we are actually loving on ourselves. When I was studying Rose oil looking at others research, there wasn’t much hair related, that’s why I am referring to it as more of a Sensual Experience to have, and enjoy.
